TLDR: Bike Week schedule EXTENDED | Triumph Speed Triple | Heated Gear | Ormond Loop
Hey riders,
I am dedicating this issue to the female riders of the world. A group that has embraced my mission to break down barriers and agreed to walk in line with me to build a more connected community on two wheels.
A genuine and heartfelt thank you to Zee Traveler (Bunk-a-biker) Michelle Lamphere (President of WIMA) Amanda Knapp (WRWR) Tracy Charles (& Roo) and finally, coming up in our next issue, Erin Sills (50x land speed record holder).
There are so many of you online that I have met and just not been able to interview yet, so stay tuned for many more. Thank you for giving me the chance to talk to you.
The female riding community is one that I am proud to align with, and if have not personally checked out the amazing things they are doing, now is the time to do it.
Cheers!

Reviews for Riders: Triumph Speed Triple

The Triumph Street Triple 675 does not try to overwhelm you with electronics or hide its personality behind complexity. Instead, it delivers a riding experience that feels alive, approachable, and endlessly rewarding. At the heart of the Street Triple is Triumph’s 675cc three cylinder engine, a motor that has earned its reputation by blending smoothness with urgency in a way few bikes can match. Read more….
Epic Rides: Daytona Loop
AKA "The Ormond Scenic loop & Trial"

You don’t come to Florida just to chase straight roads and endless sun. Some of the best rides are waiting where the pavement winds through places that feel untouched by time. The Daytona Loop, better known to locals as the Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail, is one of those rides. This isn’t a strip built for speed or a canyon carved by elevation, it’s a 30-plus-mile ribbon of pavement that feels like Florida before the world showed up. Read more…
Safety and Performance: Heated Gear
Keeping with the theme of enjoying the ride instead of surviving it, heated motorcycle gear is one of those upgrades that makes you wonder why you waited so long. A heated jacket and gloves combo turns cold weather riding from a layering contest into a plug-and-go situation.
Instead of piling on hoodies, thermals, wind blockers, and whatever else you grabbed half awake that morning, heated gear handles the job with a single piece that actually does what it promises. The jacket keeps your core warm without feeling bulky, the gloves keep your hands comfortable without turning your controls into a guessing game, and suddenly you can move freely and focus on riding instead of managing your outfit.
The most common layout is a windbreaker lined with heating elements and personally my gloves plug directly into the jacket, with the heated elements running the lines of each finger.
Popular with riders who refuse to park the bike just because the forecast looks unfriendly, modern heated jackets and gloves lean into a simple idea. Fewer layers, more comfort, longer rides. When you are warm without feeling stuffed into your gear, riding in the cold stops feeling like a challenge and starts feeling like a flex.
Community Spotlight: Tracy + Roo
Tracy Charles, Roo, and the Long Way of Letting Go.
“Six and a half years into riding full-time around the world, Morocco became the first place where things didn’t line up cleanly. A handful of uncomfortable moments. A few reminders that travel isn’t always a highlight reel. And yet, even there, Tracy’s response stayed the same. Things happen. You keep moving. Somehow, it works out.”

We’re always down to talk bikes. And if you know someone who lives for throttle therapy, send this newsletter their way; their readership helps keep the newsletter going.
Keep the shiny side up.
